Co-Director

Status: Building, ongoing since Jul 2023

What I did

  • Led the 6-person Life Skills team.
  • Co-ran the program with Aria Ahadzadeh Ardebili while the coordinator, Didem Erman, was on leave.
  • Designed and led the AI Literacy and Career Panel sessions.
  • Tracked deadlines and reviewed deliverables. Took over meetings and announcements.
  • Drove calendar and sponsor outreach.
  • Built a mentorship-preference form and an 18-session checklist.
  • Mentored 120+ youth over about 3 years.
  • Drafted sponsorship proposals and reference letters.
  • Co-hosted the August 2026 symposium and career panel.
  • Since Sep 2022, ran focus groups with 50+ students and transcribed the data; Dr. Turin's research group used the findings for their posters.

  • Other Life Skills team members delivered sessions.
  • Aria Ahadzadeh Ardebili co-coordinated.
  • Didem Erman was Program Coordinator (on leave).
